Last month we launched our initiative - Rock Stars in our Field - and we are very excited about it. There are many talented professionals in our industry who wouldn't necessarily talk about themselves, and we want to amplify their knowledge and hard work. Every month we'll be asking members of the PPC community to answer a few questions about a PPC rockstar they know. Let's get the industry to say nice things about each other!
For our second month, we have the brilliant Chris Ridley - Interim Paid Media Team Lead at Evoluted. He is a performance-driven digital marketer with experience on both client and agency sides in various industries. He defines himself as an advocator of positive workplace environments and inclusive work cultures. We had the pleasure of having him as a speaker for our second PPC Live UK, where he explained all the PMax secrets we should know. One of his colleagues (who wishes to remain anonymous) has told us why he is a rockstar.
What is your relationship with him?
Chris is my colleague at Evoluted, and we both work in the Paid Media department.
What makes him a rockstar?
Chris is always happy to step up when needed and always makes time to help his colleagues, even when busy. Chris is also passionate about PPC, and his knowledge and expertise are impressive!
Can you describe an incident that made them stand out to you with their approach?
There have been many occasions where Chris has gone out of his way to support his team, whether with work or personal issues. It's really appreciated and shows how much he cares about his work and colleagues.
What project is he working on that we can support?
Chris has recently taken the jump into the world of public speaking/presenting talks on PPC.
